OmniActive Health Technologies (India/Bridgewater, NJ) announced a collaboration with the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) to highlight the significance of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers for prenatal nutrition at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG)’s Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting in San Francisco, CA.
OmniActive is one of six companies involved in the partnership alongside Balchem, Church & Dwight Co., dsm-firmenich, Kemin Human Nutrition and Health and Pharmavite. The partnership aims to educate and elevate awareness among obstetricians, gynecologists and other maternal health care practitioners about the role of lutein and zeaxanthin to support maternal and fetal health during pregnancy.

Lutein for Every Age is an educational initiative from OmniActive that focuses on raising awareness of early and consistent lutein and zeaxanthin intake to support eye, cognitive and general health throughout life, the company said.
