For The Biome, the Vermont-based wellness and skin care company launched last year by Paul and Barbi Schulick, welcomed Maren Giuliano to the company’s executive management team as VP sales and business development. Previously, Giuliano was executive global director-whole body department at Texas-based Whole Foods Market.

“After nearly 25 years in the natural products industry, with 20 of those at Whole Foods Market, I was looking to work with an emerging brand that fully aligned with my values,” said Giuliano. “When I learned that Paul Schulick was starting a new venture, I was really interested in what he was doing, as I knew it would be something very special—and indeed it is!”
Paul and Barbi Schulick originally founded the iconic New Chapter supplement company in 1982, which was acquired by Procter & Gamble (P & G) seven years ago. They left P&G last year to launch their latest venture, For The Biome.
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Maren Giuliano to our team,” said Paul Schulick. “Her legacy as an insider with a finger on the pulse of the industry and a prescient sense of what we all need before anyone else is talking about it, makes her an extraordinary asset to our new venture. We can’t wait to see the blossoming of her creativity for our evolving biome.”
“Maren is a perfect fit,” added Barbi Schulick. “We’re delighted she’s contributing her wisdom and experience to enrich our company culture.”
