Natures Plus Supports The Nature Conservancy

by Nicholas Saraceno | September 1, 2017

Nutrition brand Natures Plus (New York) is supporting The Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organization, as part of its Corporate Environmental Responsibility policy.

Jim Gibbons, president of Nature Plus, said he is excited about this new relationship. “Our goals are very much aligned with The Nature Conservancy. As part of our Corporate Environmental Responsibility policy, we not only strive to source pure and organic ingredients for our consumers, but we also seek business partners with stellar sustainable practices and environmental records.” Gibbons continued, “In addition, we will continue to help ensure preservation and protection of the environment … and the diversity of life that exists within.”

The Natures Plus family hopes to further support The Nature Conservancy throughout 2017 by encouraging employees to get involved with numerous volunteer opportunities from beach cleanups, to trail building and preserve maintenance and other environmental projects led by the organization.

Geof Rochester, managing director of The Nature Conservancy noted, “We work around the world to address the most pressing conservation threats by using scientific solutions to protect important lands and waters for nature and people. Brands can play an important role in educating and inspiring the public. We are thankful for Nature’s Plus and its support. With companies like this, we can work together to make the world will be a better place for their contribution.”

The Nature Conservancy protects more than 119 million acres and thousands of miles of rivers worldwide, impacting conservation in more than 72 countries.
