On Thursday, March 9 from 6-8:30 p.m., Vitamin Angels will host corporate supporters from the Natural Products Industry at its annual reception, League of Angels, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. The charity, which provides nutritional support for children and mothers at risk for malnutrition, will recognize the invaluable role its donors played in reaching a record number of beneficiaries and locations in 2016. Guests expected to attend include retailers, manufacturers and vendors who will be looking to take advantage of the unique networking opportunity while showing their support for Vitamin Angels.

“Last year, thanks in large part to the generosity of those within the Natural Products Industry, Vitamin Angels reached over 51 million children and mothers in nearly 60 countries – more than we ever have before in a single year,” said Howard Schiffer, president and founder of Vitamin Angels. “We are thrilled to celebrate this achievement with those who helped make it possible.”

Guests at this year’s event will enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers, live entertainment by a Peruvian dance group and speeches from key industry executives. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the venue by purchasing behind-the-scenes stadium tours, use of the official Anaheim Angels batting cages and access to the field for photos. A store with merchandise sourced from around the world will also benefit the organization.

An exclusive VIP reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. for event sponsors and special guests only in the Ketel One Club. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, a full dinner and have the opportunity to network with Vitamin Angels’ President and Founder, Howard Schiffer, as well as key players from the natural products industry.

The reception precedes the Natural Products Expo West, the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event, held at the Anaheim Convention Center March 9 – 12.
