Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage (Lakewood, CO) announced a new partnership with Rodale Institute (Kutztown, PA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to regenerative organic agriculture.

During Organic Month (September), customers will have the opportunity to support the retailer’s goal of raising $100,000 for Rodale Institute with donations at the register and a portion of proceeds from sales of themed reusable shopping bags, the company said.

According to the company, Natural Grocers will focus its monthly community education efforts, discounts, recipes and giveaways on organic food and regenerative agriculture. The company aims to raise the full amount by Sep. 30.
