Shriners Children’s Partners With ThreePeaks Brands to Improve Children’s Health

by Eric Munson | October 16, 2023

On Oct. 12, Shriners Children’s (Tampa, FL), the global pediatric health care system, announced a partnership with ThreePeaks Brands, Inc. (Surprise, AZ), a functional food and beverage company.

As per the agreement, ThreePeaks will donate a portion of the proceeds to Shriners to support the lives of children around the world. ThreePeaks will also display the Shriners logo on the product labels.

According to ThreePeaks Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Andy Salis, the two companies unknowingly had a connection prior to either knowing of the other’s existence.

Salis, who grew up in San Francisco, said he frequently drove by the Shriners location in the city.

“Everybody in town was proud of the Shriners,” Salis said. “And now, decades later we’re proud to be supporting them in their continuing efforts to provide such needed care.”

ThreePeaks produces and distributes various functional foods and beverages including its flagship Heathy Dairy Yogurt Smoothie, which contains 23 essential nutrients.

“What Shriners Children’s is doing to improve kids’ lives from a medical perspective, ThreePeaks Brands is doing from a nutritional perspective,” said ThreePeaks CEO Carleton Prince. “With a portion of every dollar, of every purchase, of every one of our products, going to the organization, this is a very appropriate natural next step in our efforts to improve the health and well-being of people.”

Over the last century, Shriners has treated more than 1.5 million children from more than 170 countries regardless of families’ financial or insurance status. Shriners treats various issues including orthopedic issues, craniofacial conditions, spine conditions and gastrointestinal issues.

“ThreePeaks not only provides beneficial products, but they, too, share a commitment to improving lives, which is what Shriners Children’s is all about,” said Mel Bower, the chief marketing and communications officer for Shriners. “This partnership is a great fit for both organizations, and we are looking forward to what we can accomplish in the future.”
