Per Os Bio specializes in developing and manufacturing consumer-friendly products that provide fast absorption and high bioavailability of functional active ingredients. These products, in tablet form, include a unique functional chewing gum tablet, lozenges/mints and chewable tablets. The functional gum utilizes a patented manufacturing process that adds active ingredients to a powdered gum, and then uses direct compression to make a gum tablet that has content uniformity of actives from piece to piece. This allows the flexibility to create custom gum formulations that other companies cannot offer. Per Os’ gum does not utilize the confectionery gum process, which requires high temperatures that inactivate many active ingredients resulting in a sub-potent, less efficacious final product. Per Os’ gum products are manufactured in an allergen-free facility in compliance with FDA GMP regulations at room temperature allowing the concentration of the active ingredients to be lab tested and fully available in the final product. All Per Os products can also be labeled as Kosher Pareve.
