The Natural Products Association (NPA) announced that it will partner with Southeast NPA (SENPA) to host SOHO EXPO 2014 on Dec. 4-7, 2014 in Orlando. FL. The new partnership between NPA and its sister region SENPA is expected to expand the number of exhibitors at the annual trade show, while also bringing increased retailer and supplier education to the event, according to NPA.

SENPA is one of five NPA regional organizations that serve as local industry liaisons, monitoring state legislation and protecting the natural products industry's right to do business. SENPA Executive Director Carylene Walker praised NPA's support of the regional NPAs and expressed excitement over the new collaboration. "We are excited to have a strong national presence at this year's event, especially with the new leadership at NPA," Walker said. "I have always considered this show one of the best for the natural products industry and having NPA co-host the event with us will solidify that position. This partnership is a wonderful way to celebrate my 40th year with SENPA and SOHO EXPO."

NPA CEO Dan Fabricant, PhD, was inspired to partner with SENPA on SOHO EXPO because of the way in which the show gives back to the industry. "Since NPA and SENPA are nonprofit organizations, all of the dollars that will be gained from this event will go right back into the advocacy, education and other resources and initiatives that our associations work on each day that benefit the entire natural products industry."

SOHO EXPO has been in operation since 1971 under SENPA. The event is a combination of educational programming for natural products suppliers and retailers and an exhibition for industry members.

"Our success of 43 productive and profitable years with a perfect venue and large number of retail attendees gives us the opportunity to work alongside NPA," said SENPA President Karen Greenway. "We look forward to strengthening our relationships with exhibitors, retail members and colleagues within the industry through this partnership."
