The Natural Products Association (NPA) in collaboration with Virginia-based information technology firm B&A, delivered lunch and energy drinks to Capitol Police Officers on Tuesday, September 7, and Wednesday September 8. Officers enjoyed sandwiches from Washington, DC Italian sub shop Grazie Grazie, and stocked up on C4 energy drinks from nutritional supplement maker and NPA member Nutrabolt.
“Police officers, especially our incredible Capitol Police Officers, have faced some of the most challenging times in the department’s history this year. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) rates are rising across the country at an alarming rate, and it’s the job of every member of the community to band together to support the men and women who keep our communities safe,” said Dr. Daniel Fabricant, president and CEO of the NPA.
“Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to keep our city safe. NPA and the entire natural products industry wants to ensure we’re showing gratitude for the time officers spend away from their families. Lunch is only a small token of our appreciation, but we will continue to take every small step we can to back the blue,” said Fabricant.
