Hydro Flask, an award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks, has won two GOOD DESIGN Awards for its 64-oz. Growler and Flex Cap products. Founded in 1950, GOOD DESIGN is the oldest and one of the most recognized design excellence awards program in the world.
Each year, The Chicago Athenaeum presents the GOOD DESIGN Awards program for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the globe. For 2016, the museum received several thousand submissions from the world’s leading manufacturers, industrial design firms and graphic design agencies.
The Hydro Flask Growler received recognition for its proprietary Fresh Carry System cap that is leak-proof and keeps beer cold and carbonated for 24 hours or longer. The unique one-handed pour design allows for easy, ergonomic transport and ensures a perfect pour.
The Hydro Flask Flex Cap was acknowledged for its proprietary Honeycomb Insulation that provides a radiant barrier to lock in temperature. In addition, the cap was praised for its durable, leak-proof design and flexible TPE strap with integrated stainless steel pivots.
“We are honored that two of Hydro Flask’s products were chosen to receive GOOD DESIGN Awards,” said Hydro Flask Vice President of Product, David Visnack. “Our team is extremely talented and these awards are a testament to their commitment to product innovation and exceptional design.”
In 2016, Hydro Flask won an iF Design Award and two Red Dot Design Awards. Since the beginning, Hydro Flask has maintained its dedication to insulated products and uniquely refreshing experiences, and has exploded to become the No. 1 overall American hydration brand.
