Coldstream Naturals Certified Cruelty Free and Vegan

by Angela Santoriello | August 7, 2014

Coldstream Naturals (Newberry, FL) has been certified cruelty free and vegan by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the largest animal rights organization in the world.

With more than three million members and supporters, PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Certification program clarifies non-animal testing terminology and procedures, compiles information on the testing policies of companies and organizations and certifies companies as cruelty free and vegan, according to Coldstream.

“At Coldstream Naturals, we are proud to achieve PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies approval, assuring our commitment to cruelty-free standards and practices and guaranteeing that absolutely no animal testing is used in any phase of our product development and manufacturing,” said Bob Zahradnik, PhD., company president.

All companies that are included on PETA’s cruelty-free list have verified that neither they nor their ingredient suppliers conduct, commission, or pay for any tests on animals for ingredients, formulations, or finished products and that they pledge not to do so in the future, reported Coldstream.

Coldstream stated any qualifying companies that bear the Beauty Without Bunnies cruelty-free logo are listed in PETA’s Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide and online searchable database of cruelty-free companies.
