AHPA Hires Anissa Medina as Education & Events Manager

by Angela Sabarese | October 11, 2022

The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) has announced that Anissa Medina has joined the association as education & events manager, reporting to Amber Bennett, vice president of Marketing & Engagement at AHPA.

Medina comes to AHPA with experience in events, marketing, and regulatory affairs in the hemp CBD industry. In 2021, Medina served as vice president for state lobbying for the U.S. Hemp Roundtable. In her new role, Medina will manage and enhance AHPA’s educational programming on regulatory compliance, technical issues, and other topics most relevant to the dietary supplement and natural products industries.

“AHPA is delighted to welcome Anissa to the team,” said Bennett. “Her well-rounded skill set and dedication to producing thoughtful, high quality educational content and events will benefit our members immediately.”

“As industry regulations and best practices change, we have no doubt Anissa’s contributions will increase the impact of AHPA’s regulatory and scientific expertise and keep our members duly informed,” added AHPA President Michael McGuffin.
