Recent Clinical Studies Shed New Light on How Drinking Water Enhances Bioavailability of Nutrients, Antioxidants and Vitamins

More than 40 years ago, scientist John Willard, PhD, made an amazing discovery. At the time, this chemistry professor was in the process of conducting research on a highly concentrated trace mineral water when he serendipitously made a discovery. He was working on his trace mineral water when he had an inspiration to combine his if with another product he’d been developing. With that small stroke of inspired genius he had invented Willard Water. Willard first named his findings Catalyst Altered Water because the newly created product causes the formation of “a catalyst that alters the structure of water, making water behave in a manner that had not been reported in the literature” as stated by Willard. This amazing water also includes fossilized organics that consist of activated carbon, amino acids, trace minerals and refined lignite (lignite is the fossil remains of plants that grew 50 million years ago).

As a scientist, Willard was intensely interested in the reasons behind the positive qualities of his newly invented “Catalyst Altered” Willard Water. He spent the rest of his life working with scientists at prestigious universities such as Purdue University, the University of British Columbia and the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, among several others. Together these scientists worked to conduct in-depth research on the science and overall efficacy behind Willard Water.

CAW Industries, the manufacturer of all Dr. Willard products, has sponsored a series of studies over the last few years in an effort to build on what has been learned in the previous four decades regarding the many benefits of drinking Willard Water and to gain a better understanding of exactly how Willard Water is positively affecting cellular absorption of nutrients. These studies have confirmed what’s been known for 40 years—Willard Water enhances cellular absorption of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.

The first study, conducted in October of 2011, entitled, “An Examination of Willard Water’s Impact on Vitamin Efficacy,” confirmed that drinking Willard Water significantly improved the efficacy of multiple vitamin supplements including critical nutrients such as vitamins D, B12 and B6. The study’s objective was to quantify that drinking Willard Water significantly improves the human body’s ability to absorb vitamins. The three month study sought to measure the impact of both Willard Water Dark and Willard Water CLEAR on the absorption rates of various vitamins in human subjects. The study also sought to determine whether there is a measurable difference between Willard Water’s effects on fat soluble vs. water soluble vitamins.

According to the study’s author, Dr. Hildegarde Staninger, “Willard Water significantly improved the efficacy of multiple vitamin absorption rates. All study participants showed significant (vitamin absorption) improvement by drinking Willard Water over the 30 day period.”

Staninger observed that Willard Water was effective in increasing absorption rates of fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins E and K. However, Staninger also found the most benefits when Willard Water is consumed with water-soluble vitamins such as those in the B complex group. “… The collective specimen pool of individuals showed significant improvement due to Willard Water’s micelle reactive properties, which allows molecules to become smaller and more effective in the reaction with other molecules opposing charges,” Staninger continued. “It was also observed that the vitamins that were “hydrogen” reactive, reacted significantly better with Willard Water.”

A second series of studies, begun in October of 2012 and near completion, is being conducted by NIS Labs in Klamath Falls, OR. These studies involve cell cultures and focus on examining the role Willard Water plays in cellular delivery, absorption and utilization of antioxidants. While the study results have only recently been submitted for peer reviewed publication, it’s safe to say that they indicate Willard Water is affecting cellular absorption and utilization of antioxidants.

Willard Water has been studied for more than 40 years and these recent studies support what has been learned over the last four decades. Those individuals who have problems with bioavailability of nutrients or simply want better utilization of their vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, would be well served by making Willard Water part of their daily regimen.
