The Southeast Natural Products Association (SENPA) announced that the 3rd annual 2017 Strategies for Success Road Show for Independent Retailers held in Orlando, FL, Nashville, TN, Birmingham, AL and Charlotte, NC was successful and well attended. “Bringing education and networking from sponsored companies and their speakers strengthens the relationship and confidence in the products retailers place on their shelves,” said Renee Southard, owner of Organic Marketplace in Gastonia, NC and SENPA education chair. “You build that relationship and the end result is the integrity you build with the customer in your store.”
The SENPA Road Shows hosted seven speakers including Dr. Michael Murray (Florida-based Enzymedica), Brenda Watson (Florida-based Vital Planet), Dr. Jason DuBois (Florida-based Hybrid Remedies), Dan Chapman (Illinois-based Redd Remedies, Dr. Frank King (North Carolina-based King Bio), Davinder Garcha (Florida-based BioKult) and Ty Cherry (Florida-based Innocent Chocolate).
The retail attendees also received goodie bags filled with sponsor samples, a raffle of door prizes ranging from $50 cash to more than $900 retail products, a special discount from sponsors and a Grand Prize of one free night at the Gaylord Palms while attending SOHO EXPO.
“These free educational events are vital to the success of any independent retailer and their staff,” said Debra Short, SENPA executive director. “Our events are supported by sponsored companies in the natural products industry who believe in the future of the independent retailer.”
SENPA will announce the 2018 Strategies for Success Road Show at SOHO EXPO held in Orlando, FL, November 30 to December 3, 2017.
